Operating since 1986, Sports Imports supplies new, rebuilt, and used parts to Datsun Roadster enthusiasts all over the world. Our range includes mechanical, electrical, suspension, and body parts.
Sports Imports was established as a full time Datsun Roadster business in 1986. In recent years we have added a body shop and paint booth, mechanical shop, and restoration facilities. This has meant increasing the number of employees to better serve our customers.
The main thrust of the business is parts and we try to keep a large up-to-date inventory for the parts needed to restore, maintain, and upgrade your Datsun Roadster. I earn my living from selling Datsun Roadster parts and cars. It has kept a roof over the heads of my family, and I hope to continue serving my many loyal customers for years to come.
Sports Imports was the first Datsun Roadster business to have a website up and running, and the benefits to my customers and my business have been both rewarding and educational. I learned much about Roadsters from my 11 years at the helm of the Datsun Roadster Review as editor. This magazine helped form friendships that have lasted over 20 years. I also started the Mt. Shasta Datsun Roadster Meet 36 years ago and organized it for its first 10 years.
Running a shop that caters almost exclusively to Datsun Roadsters has given me the opportunity to learn a great deal about these cars. I am more than happy to pass on technical tips and information in order to make your restoration or engine rebuild a little easier. I am still learning new things about these cars even though I have been a roadster owner since 1976.
